Pink (Science Appliance) is an 1024-node LinuxBIOS/BProc cluster with dual 2.4 GHz P4s connected by Myrirnet 2000 in the Evolocity chassis (effective .8U per node). The vendor is Linux Networx.

12/10/2002: Visit to Center 7 in SLC
| Pink is being built and tested outside of Salt Lake City at a facility called Center 7. Ron, Erik, and Greg went to visit the site and assist in the bring-up. |

Pink requires special floor tiles to provide proper cooling. The tiles (below) are designed to pass through 50% of the airflow. |

The backs of the racks are pretty slick. The orange fiber cables are for the Myrinet, and the green and grey go to the ICE box, Linux Networx management box. |
