What happens when you put the flash in the wrong way?
It gets really hot!
While debugging the SiS630 HOWTO, we accidentally inserted the flash the wrong way (the little notch indicates the proper orientation) so that power and ground were reversed. By the time we noticed, the part was almost too hot to remove and the Award hologram sticker had begun to warp and melt. The best part was after we reinserted it in the proper orientation, the machine reset itself a couple of times (which we witnessed using the postcard) until the flash cooled down.
