Before you begin

The Asus K8N-E is a Athlon64 Socket 939 board with socketed BIOS selling around €110 (used at ebay €30-50 possible). It already boots LinuxBIOS. currently PS/2 keyboards do not work, but USB keyboards do.

The BIOS chip is of type _________ (s.o. pls fill in) of which you need a spare pre-programmed piece.
