Highlights

We will be having two workshops:

Booth location

Hall 7.2b 112, at the "Embedded" booth, together with GPE, GPE Phone Edition, embedded GNUstep, oBiCo, Open Embedded, T2 SDE, Tntnet.

Booth plan

We'll get one Infocounter (1 m x 0.5 m), height is 1 m. Quoting from the LinuxTag website: "The infocounter is a normal sales counter, which may be used for presenting giveaways, merchandising, etc."

UPDATE: Maybe we get one Infopoint instead. This is not yet clear.

What needs to be brought

  • Flat screen monitor
    • We have one offer for a 17" CRT, but it will take valuable space
  • 4-in-1 Monitor switch
    • Peter brings one on Wednesday
  • Ethernet switch (for the workshop, >20 ports would be preferable)
    • Peter is bringing one
    • Carl-Daniel is bringing one
    • We'll just exchange switches when Peter leaves
  • Power strip (1 for the booth, 1 big for the workshop)
    • Carl-Daniel brings one with 12 sockets on Thursday
  • Artec dongles (for demos and the workshop)
    • Carl-Daniel brings one (currently slightly defective) on Thursday
  • Artec ThinCan DBE61 (for demos and the workshop)
    • Carl-Daniel brings one on Thursday
  • PC Engines Alix.1C (for demos and the workshop)
  • Serial cables for DBE61 and Alix.1C
  • PS/2 keyboard
    • Peter brings one on Wednesday
  • USB keyboard
    • Carl-Daniel brings one on Thursday
