Is the project actually dead or what?

Greetings,

Currently, for all practical purposes, freebios is LinuxBIOS. The project
is actually quite active. The snapshots are way out of date. The best
thing is to check out the freebios CVS tree for current images.

Snapshots are reletive in any case as each mainboard in the tree is more
or less it's own sub-project that happens to share a good bit of stable
code in the tree with other boards. Each mainboard directory has a STATUS
file indicating (hopefully) the date of the last known good build so if
all else fails, a CVS checkout of that date should build and run
correctly.

G'day,
sjames
