Additional information:

 * likely issues with irqtables or mptable.
 * please note that the system initialize UP, not SMP.
 * working: VGA (on the pcie 16x slot), serial.
 * not-working: Ethernet (Marvel chip, same irq as the 3ware), IDE dma,
USB, Firewire, please note that I was able to boot from an IDE drive, but
I was getting some DMA issues here and there, using a cf2ide adapter.
