I tried to follow the rest of the discussion.
I think that super-components like "fintek-all" are slightly overrated,
do not decrease the workload, but rather readability and can even be
dangerous -- think workarounds for chip revisions.
If someone happens to offer a super-component driver, we will have
something to discuss about. But keeping an outstanding patch unapplied
is definitely not an option.
