Why limit the info? It doesn't have to be one place or the other, it can be
both places, and I can see the benefit of having it on the Supported
Motherboards page. Socketed/non-socketed is very useful info though.

Technically, yes, but I'd say that 99% (if not higher) PLCC flash chips on
PC motherboards are PLCC32, so I'd say it's not important.
