I am familar with the LinuxBios project and I looked at Coreboot
before. The problem is there are very few motherboards supported. It
isn't about how open is but rather on whether or not someone takes the
time to support a motherboard or not.  The Jr is going to be phased
out in six months so it wouldn't be worth the time to port Coreboot to
the Jr. However, we are just releasing the DX and soon we will have
products based on the new Xcore86 CPU.  Our base BIOS is AMI BIOS.  If
someone wanted to migrate Coreboot onto the new platforms, that would
be great.
