coreboot itself doesn't care.

SeaBIOS fully supports the Int 13h LBA64 extensions and supports
LBA48 addressing on IDE (and probably AHCI too, but I've not tested

GPT partitioning is irrelevant to the firmware if you don't have
a UEFI implementation.  On PC-BIOS, GPT support is implemented by
the bootloader code on the hard drive.
