Using "was" indicates that this patch changes how that works, which
is not the case. In any case, the good solution to this problem is
Patrick's idea to fix coreboot so that there is a convenient method
to run chipset specific code at strategic points during
initialization.

Please mention if you know of places in coreboot where it would be
particularly useful to make calls into chipset code.
