This brings up and interesting question. Does it make sense at some
point to just flip all memory above 2G to the 4G+ area to simplify
these types of situations?

Everything that's not 64-bit seems to either have not much memory
(geode) or be able to "flip" memory to the 4G+ boundary and manage it.
Would this make any sense?
