What's wrong with our way of handling nvram again? And what's the
context of your statements above?<br>

Afaict:<br>
- coreboot does validate the nvram before using it.<br>
- coreboot should not try to use nvram if it is not valid.<br>
- nvramtool never _asks_ the user. It's not an interactive tool.
Instead it will fix checksums as soon as you start setting options.<br>
