This page contains a series of potential candidates for a new Long-Term SUpport laptop.

Requirements:
- RYF-certifiable: all blobs can be replaced with reasonable effort
- Sturdy: Won't come apart in the first years of use
- Long shelf-life: Expected to be manufactured in large quantities, sold for at least 2 yrs
- Cool factor: Must be attractive enough as a piece of hardware to attract users
