  • Requirements:
    • RYF-certifiable: all blobs can be replaced with reasonable effort
    • Sturdy: Won't come apart in the first years of use
    • Long shelf-life: Expected to be manufactured in large quantities, sold for at least 2 yrs
    • Cool factor: Must be attractive enough as a piece of hardware to attract users
