The great thing about using XML in this
kind of situation is the relative ease
with which XML-based data can be parsed
and transformed into nearly any other
format. Were the config language encoded
in XML, your application -- to the extent
that the data in the config file were
truely useful here -- would most likely
be codable in a relatively simple script
in XSL or Python, etc.
