plus, I am modifying mkelfimage to dispense with some of the messier 
bits ... now that we have compression back in linuxbios we don't need 
bzimage any more.

yes, OLPC will have linux in flash. We are finally getting back to our 
original dream. Filo and Etherboot were temporary.
