OK, can you please rewrite this and add it to the generic GX1 code,
with a config option for Options.lb, so that it can be overridden
per-board?

It might be useful to have this fix in, so that you can use stock
kernels and you don't have to patch them (even though the correct thing
would be to fix the kernel itself, but it seems unlikely that this fix
will go into mainline anytime soon).
