Hi, All,
The ubuntu now uses the commline:
uuid 2a628170-1f5a-11de-8c30-0800200c9a66
instead of:
root (hd0,0)

Either current stable version of grub2 or filo doesn't support command
UUID. I am wondering if it is an issue that you guys have already known.
Any plan I don't know?

The ubuntu community uses a patched legacy grub 0.97 to support uuid
command.
