Ok I had to sleep over this one and think about this one a little bit.
Earlier you wrote, you only got the IDE port to work on a 2.6.24 kernel;
At first I assumed using any bios, but now that I thought about it,
after your comment here, did you mean, 2.6.24 is the only kernel with
IDE mode using the wyse bios, and IDE mode works on any driver with
coreboot? Then, it makes sense perfectly, and I'll flash your rom tonight :)
