My main concern is that SuperIO and serial is going away completely
("legacy-free hardware").
When using PCI based boards (eg. extension stuff) we need to poke holes
into the northbridge (and/or southbridge) to get access to them (ie. no
generic solution either).
We might be better off with widely available USB2 and USB3 debug port
tools and software support (and even that requires _some_ chipset
specific setup to make the chipset react to it).
