It depends on how much knowledge and experience you have. If I remember
correctly the flash chip is not socketed, so to be able to recover you
would have to do some soldering.

As far as I know coreboot did basically work on that board some time
ago. I do not know if it is working when build from the latest tree.

Back then carldani did the port. I think there were some problems that
not every memory configuration is supported. You would have to search
the list archives for that. But carldani told me that he has a patch
lying around on his system.
