No, well, he has stated that he want to wait till everybody has calmed
down (on IRC). It looks to me that he may have to wait indefinitely
though, and I would also like to see some reaction from him to the harsh
opinions given.

I can't comment on the substance of the proposal, but the reactions
from the (for me) most diligent and competent community members tells
me that something in it or how it was presented is clearly flawed.
