- The EeePC is a small low cost notebook running GNU/Linux from ASUS that they are selling by the hundreds of thousands worldwide. Two components on the device cannot be run with 100% Free Software: wifi and the BIOS. The wifi issue is being actively worked on and will be a part of the ath5k driver.
- Although I realize it may be a long-shot I am here in hopes that there is a chance in hell that coreboot will some day run on the EeePC making it a completely "liberated" readily available device. :)
